South Coast LumberReport to: Transportation Manager Schedule: Home Daily QUALIFICATIONS Valid Class "A" CDL License (Required) Current DOT Medical Card (Required) Incident-Free Driving Record (Preferred) Experience Hauling logs: 1 Year Minimum (Preferred) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Operate log trucks safely, following all company and DOT safety policies . Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working order. Communicate clearly and respectfully with dispatch, coworkers, and loading site personnel. Take proper care of company vehicles and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate and legible daily trip logs in compliance with DOT requirements. Secure loads appropriately to meet safety standards during transport. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision . Comfortable working in all weather conditions . Flexibility to work overtime as operational needs require. WHY APPLY?
