Cobalt ConstructionLocal Truck & Trailer Mechanic Location: Yukon Territory Company: Cobalt Construction Job Type: Full-Time About the Role Cobalt Construction is looking for a skilled and reliable local Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team in the Yukon. We are specifically looking for someone who lives locally in the Yukon Territory and is available to work with our team on an ongoing basis. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of highway trucks and trailers, helping ensure our equipment is safe, reliable, and ready to support our civil construction projects across the Yukon. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair highway trucks and trailers Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing Complete annual inspections and CVIPs Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Diagnose and repair truck and trailer systems, including engines, brakes, and suspension Work independently and as part of a team to keep our fleet operating efficiently Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Qualifications & Requirements Local Yukon resident preferred Licensed Journeyperson or Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic preferred, or equivalent experience Certified CVIP Inspector Strong knowledge of truck and trailer systems Experience with diagnostic tools and repair procedures Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and safety-first attitude Reliable and dependable Work Schedule & Details Competitive hourly wage based on experience Overtime opportunities available Full-time, steady employment Long-term opportunity with Cobalt Construction Work supporting civil construction projects throughout the Yukon Apply Today Are you a local Yukon mechanic looking for steady work?
