Seeking Class A Driver with 3 months or more tractor trailer experience to deliver local dedicated freight to our customers along a dedicated route from our warehouse in Denver, Co. Dedicated Driver must live within 30 miles of Denver, Co. Monday-Friday 12-14 hour shifts overtime is paid after 40 hours. 3am and 6 am start times. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers on local delivery routes. Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured according to logistics cargo handling standards. Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to optimize delivery routes while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Transport hazardous materials and dangerous goods following hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols. Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Load and unload freight accurately at multiple delivery points, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to customer specifications. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery records in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving on route driving schedules. Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with endorsements for Hazmat and tanker transportation preferred. Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers with manual handling expertise. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and automobile transportation is highly desirable. Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures and truck loading/unloading processes. Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for dangerous goods transport. Excellent navigation skills utilizing GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments.
