Local Truck Driver

Job Summary As a Local Truck Driver, you’ll transport freight on local routes, supporting reliable deliveries and smooth day-to-day operations. The role combines safe commercial driving with careful handling of cargo and equipment. Responsibilities Drive trucks on assigned local routes and deliver freight accurately and on schedule. Load, unload, and secure cargo, using a forklift when appropriate and following safe handling practices. Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after trips, report issues, and perform basic automotive repair tasks when suitable. Operate heavy equipment as needed to support freight movement and coordinate delivery updates with colleagues. Your impact: Dependable deliveries help customers receive freight when expected and enable colleagues to plan their work. Experience Required: Practical commercial driving capability, careful freight handling, and attention to vehicle and equipment condition are important for completing routes safely and reliably. Preferred: Experience with forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, or automotive repair can support efficient loading, equipment use, and routine vehicle upkeep. Related experience coordinating deliveries and communicating clearly with colleagues is also helpful. Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
