Local Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight, while adhering to all safety regulations. Duties Operate commercial vehicles for transport across various locations Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance. At time driver assist will be required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle logs, and maintenance activities Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities Collaborate with warehouse or logistics teams to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently Experience Proven 3 years experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to navigate routes efficiently and adhere to schedules in a timely manner Aptitude/Competencies Ability to tarp and untarp utilizing different equipment No height issues (ex. when tarping) Flexible/versatile Equipment walking floors, blower trailers, dry vans - Note: training can be provided for blower trailers This position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing multiple responsibilities while prioritizing safety and efficiency. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong operational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety compliance. Drivers are home on the weekend and although this is a local posting there may be sporadic times where staying in the truck overnight might be required. Cross border would be an asset.
