Local/Regional Flatbed Owner Operators

We are seeking experienced Local/Regional Flatbed Owner Operators to join our team. This role involves commercial truck driving with a focus on flatbed freight, primarily within local and regional routes. Owner Operators will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting loads while adhering to all DOT regulations. This position offers the opportunity to operate in a dynamic environment with a focus on load securement and tarping, without touch freight. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and professionalism in their driving duties. Duties Operate commercial flatbed trucks on local and regional routes, ensuring timely deliveries. Safely secure loads using appropriate load securement techniques and tarping as required. Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards during operations. Manage daily driving logs, vehicle inspections, and maintenance reports in accordance with company policies. Navigate routes efficiently, maintaining communication with dispatch for scheduling and updates. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain professionalism and safety awareness at all times during operations. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, specifically with flatbed trailers. Knowledge of over-the-road (OTR) driving routes within local or regional areas. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards related to trucking operations. Ability to securely load, unload, tarp, and secure freight on flatbed trailers. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules. Good communication skills for effective coordination with dispatch and clients. Self-motivated with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer service.
