Local Home Daily Tanker Driver (MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF TANKER EXPERIENCE)

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tanker Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of commercial vehicles, particularly tankers, and will be responsible for transporting liquid cargo safely and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes effectively. ALL LOADS WILL BE PAID BY PERCENTAGE Responsibilities Operate tanker trucks and other commercial vehicles, including flatbeds and refrigerated trailers, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent spills or damage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered as per regulatory requirements. Collaborate with dispatchers to plan efficient delivery routes while adhering to schedules. Ensure all freight is secured properly before transport and monitor cargo during transit for any issues. Utilize manual transmission skills when required and operate forklifts or other equipment as needed for loading/unloading tasks. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on tanker operations is preferred. Must have tanker and hazmat endorsements 2 years of verifiable experience running hazmat and tankers. Ability to handle freight responsibly while adhering to safety protocols in all aspects of transportation.
