Responsibilities Safely operate flatbed trucks equipped for freight transportation across local routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Tarping is required 6ft tarps Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to route driving schedules Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, including manual handling checks for safety and compliance Maintain accurate driver logs, shipment documentation Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly All Automatic equipment Home Daily Some paid Holidays Off Weekends Advances Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record(6 months experience preferred but not require). Proven experience in commercial truck driving, Can train on flatbed securement procedures and tarping if needed. Familiarity with FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations.
