Local Flatbed Driver

The Role Laufer Trucking is hiring a Local Flatbed Driver for daily routes in Wisconsin and the greater Chicagoland area. If you have hands-on flatbed experience and want to be home every night, this is a strong opportunity with a company that's been around since 1977. You'll operate a variety of flatbed equipment — standard flatbeds, step decks, and conestogas — on local routes. Duties include proper load securement, tarping and strapping, pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintaining accurate delivery records. This is active, physical flatbed work on a local daily schedule. Where you'll run Wisconsin and the greater Chicagoland area, with occasional trips to Northeast Iowa. Facilities & support Full-time maintenance staff, staffed wash bay, in-yard fuel and DEF, and a fully paved lot to keep your equipment clean. What you'll haul Steel coils, steel sheets, steel tube & bars, crated overhead doors, weldments, injection molds, machinery, forklifts, and more.
