About the Opportunity: The LOCAL DISPATCHER role is central to managing daily operations by coordinating moving and cleaning crews, ensuring schedules are maintained, and serving as the primary contact for customers and teams during service days. This position contributes to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by managing logistics and addressing real-time challenges. Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule daily moving and cleaning crews in local service areas Communicate job details, routes, and updates to drivers and field teams promptly Act as the main liaison between customers and crews for day-of logistics Monitor job progress and adjust schedules for delays, cancellations, or last-minute requests Maintain accurate dispatch logs, job records, and track crew availability Handle customer inquiries and service issues professionally and promptly Assign vehicles and equipment to optimize efficiency Requirements: Prior experience in dispatching, logistics, or scheduling preferred; moving industry experience is a plus Strong communication and multitasking abilities in fast-paced settings Proficiency with scheduling software, Google Maps, or dispatch tools Ability to problem-solve quickly and maintain composure under pressure Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Customer service experience with a professional and friendly attitude Reliable, punctual, and a cooperative team player Pay Range and Compensation Package: The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
