Local Route Delivery Driver – $28–$30/hr + $3,000 Hiring Bonus – HazMat – Mon–Fri Better Beverages, Inc. is looking for a dependable, safety-minded Route Delivery Driver to join our Southern California delivery team. This is a full-time, local, home-daily position with a normal Monday-Friday schedule . We occasionally work Saturdays when needed to adjust delivery schedules around holidays or meet other business needs. This is not just a driving job . Our Route Drivers typically service approximately 20+ restaurant and foodservice customers per day and are frequently in and out of the truck. Drivers deliver and handle high-pressure CO₂ cylinders, bag-in-box fountain syrup and other beverage products. If you enjoy staying active, working independently, interacting with customers and being home every night, this can be a great long-term position. Pay & Benefits $28–$30 per hour starting pay , depending on qualifications and relevant experience Highly qualified and experienced candidates may start at the top of the range $3,000 sign-on/retention bonus available under the company's written bonus program Overtime paid as required by law Full-time position Monday-Friday normal schedule Occasional Saturday work when necessary, including holiday-route adjustments Local routes — home daily with no overnight routes Health insurance available to eligible full-time employees Current benefits offered are Medical, Dental, Vision. Six company-paid holidays after completion of the 90-day introductory period, subject to company policy Paid vacation begins accruing on the first day of employment and may be used beginning on the 90th day. Paid sick leave in accordance with company policy Company uniforms and required equipment provided Starting pay within the $28–$30 range is based on factors such as relevant commercial driving experience, multi-stop route-delivery experience, license class, endorsements and overall qualifications. What You'll Do As a Better Beverages Route Driver, you'll safely operate a company delivery vehicle while completing a local multi-stop delivery route. Your responsibilities will include: Make approximately 20 or more customer deliveries per day Deliver high-pressure CO₂ cylinders to restaurants and foodservice customers Deliver bag-in-box fountain syrup and other beverage products Frequently enter and exit the delivery truck throughout the day Load, unload, move and properly secure cylinders and products Use hand trucks and other material-handling equipment Bring products into customer locations and designated storage areas Pick up empty cylinders and process returns as required Complete delivery paperwork and route documentation accurately Perform required vehicle inspections Follow applicable company, DOT, HazMat and safety procedures Provide professional and friendly customer service Maintain dependable attendance and complete assigned routes safely and efficiently Driver Qualifications Qualified applicants must possess the driver's license and endorsements required for the assigned vehicle and duties. Applicants should have: Valid commercial driver's license appropriate for the assigned vehicle HazMat endorsement Acceptable motor vehicle record Ability to meet applicable commercial-driver medical qualification requirements Ability to meet Better Beverages' insurance requirements Ability to satisfy applicable DOT/FMCSA and company driver-qualification requirements Ability to safely perform the essential functions of this physically active position, with or without reasonable accommodation Good customer-service and communication skills Dependable attendance and a strong safety mindset Commercial Class A or Class B drivers are encouraged to apply, Class C Commercial at minimum.
