Peters Brothers, Inc. is seeking Local CDL A Reefer Drivers to join our team in Jefferson, WI . You’ll be hauling refrigerated freight in 53’ multi-zone temperature trailers with no-touch freight . Hours: Monday-Friday --- start time and end times determined by dispatch and appointment times --- occasional Saturday's as needed. Route: Local WI, IL, IN & MN Typical daily day: Mostly shuttle runs --- Pick-up or drop&hook somewhere in WI (ex. Luxemburg, Appleton, Green Bay, Lomira, Belgium, New London, Caledonia, Mayville, etc.) then drop loaded trailer at the 47th rail in Chicago. Hook a loaded trailer at the rail and unload mostly in IL and bring empty back to Jefferson yard. If there is nothing to unload, hook an empty from IL and bring to Jefferson yard. Freight: 100% No-Touch Equipment Late-Model Freightliner & Kenworth Trucks Automatic Transmission Comfort Amenities: XM Radio, Fridge, Mattress Governed at 68 MPH Safety Technology: Dual-facing camera (only active when on drive line) Qualifications Minimum Age: 24 CDL A License 1+ Year Verifiable Tractor-Trailer Experience Consistent Work History (1+ year average at past jobs) No positive drug/alcohol test results or refusals No DUI/DWI in last 10 years No major accidents/violations in last 3 years Must meet all DOT requirements & pass pre-employment drug screen Hiring Radius: Must live within 40 miles of Jefferson, WI or be willing to relocate Why Peters Brothers?
