The role emphasizes local pickups and deliveries, Full Truckload (FTL) and Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) operations, and rail-related work, making it a vital link in the supply chain network. Execute local pickup and delivery routes to ensure goods are transported to their destinations safely and on time. 2. Operate a Class A commercial vehicle proficiently, adhering to all safety standards and regulations during FTL, LTL, and rail-related tasks. 3. Load and unload freight using pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling to maintain the integrity of goods and prevent damage. 4. Adapt to fluctuating business needs by working required overtime to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations. 5. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment, including the proper inspection and upkeep of the assigned vehicle. Minimum Requirements 1. Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and maintain a safe driving record. 2. Demonstrated ability to manage freight handling safely, with competency in operating pallet jacks and securing loads. 3. Willingness and ability to work overtime as required by business needs. Preferred Requirements 1. Proven experience in local delivery operations, including FTL, LTL, and rail-related work, offering an immediate understanding of job responsibilities. 2. Familiarity with the Roanoke, TX delivery area and surrounding regions, providing efficiency in route planning and execution. 3. A work history indicating punctuality, reliability, and consistent communication with dispatch and management teams. Skills 1. Strong proficiency in operating Class A commercial vehicles, with a focus on safety and regulation compliance. 2.
