Local Class A CDL Driver (Night Shift)

Job Overview Nagle is a family owned trucking company that has been in business since 1989. Our home office is in Walbridge, OH, where we have a full-service terminal and a fleet of 70 trucks. On the local side, we handle freight for ICE, First Solar, NSG, and Sun Chemical. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team and run local freight. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to manage routes effectively. Responsibilities Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years No more than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience in the last 5 years Strong understanding of safety regulations related to truck driving and cargo transportation. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients Must be available for night shift and able to work up to 12 hour shifts Nagle is not SAP friendly for local positions (SAP friendly for regional & OTR positions only) What We Offer $26/hour ($1 night shift differential) Daily home time Schedule will vary depending on the account you are assigned to, which is based on availability. You will not have the ability to choose your schedule unfortunately.
