Pay Average annualized earnings: $92,000 Sign-on bonus: $10,000 for a limited time Mileage pay: $0.62–$0.67 per mile Live stop pay: $88 per stop Drop-and-hook pay: $57 Detention pay: $23–$33 per hour after one hour Hazmat load pay: $40 Additional pay available for qualifying activities, including driver assist, yard checks, and rail delays Schedule and Home Time Home daily Local intermodal routes within approximately 250 miles of Harrisburg Typically 2–5 loads per day No New York City routes Multiple shift opportunities Paid training and orientation Job Details Transport intermodal freight to and from two Harrisburg rail yards Priority loading and unloading at Norfolk Southern rail yards Company-owned equipment Automatic and manual trucks available Slip-seating operation, meaning trucks are shared between drivers Tractors remain at the terminal during time off Modern fleet with an average truck age of approximately two years On-site management and full-service maintenance Requirements Valid Class A CDL Ability to operate manual and automatic trucks, unless restricted to automatic transmissions Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days of hire Reimbursement available for the $60 threat assessment and fingerprinting expenses with receipts, after the endorsement is added to the physical CDL Reliable transportation to the terminal Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience Benefits PTO begins accruing on day one Six paid holidays 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision coverage available after 30 days, subject to eligibility Parental leave, adoption assistance, and family planning benefits Life insurance and disability benefits
