Local Class A CDL Driver

Position Title: Local CDL Truck Driver Pay Rate : $0.5114 per mile after completing orientation and on-site training (pay during orientation/training is $21.61/hour) Sign on Bonus : $500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months, Category/Shift : Monday – Friday days (some Saturdays as needed) Physical Location : Houston Container 511 Third St. Houston, MS 38851 The Job You Will Perform: Perform pre-trip inspections of Tractors and trailers consists of approx. 15 minutes of walking, squatting, and bending to perform safety inspections. Complete paperwork, signing Bill of Ladings, completing a “Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report”, approximately 5 minutes. Working on on-board computer as a means of completing “Driver’s daily driving logs”, approximately 10 minutes during the course of the day. Climbing in and out of Tractor as needed. Hand cranking landing gear to hook and unhook trailers. Hooking and unhooking air lines and electrical lines. Opening and closing trailer doors. Spotting trailers to docks. International Paper drivers are not required to load or unload product. All product is loaded and unloaded with the aid of forklifts. No touch freight. Follow all posted speed limits. Follow all Federal, State, and local DOT regulations.
