Local Class 1 Flatbed driver

Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Local Class 1 Flatbed Driver and become an essential part of our transportation network! In this role, you will operate heavy-duty flatbed trucks within the local area, delivering freight efficiently and safely to various destinations. Your expertise in commercial driving, combined with your ability to handle heavy equipment and freight securely, will ensure timely deliveries and excellent service. Duties Safely operate a Class 1 flatbed truck within local routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Securely load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical issues, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met Use heavy equipment operation skills to handle freight efficiently and securely during loading and unloading processes Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests, delivery receipts, and logs Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any repairs needed to ensure continuous safe operation Experience Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed trucks or similar heavy vehicles Knowledge of heavy equipment operation related to freight handling is highly desirable Familiarity with automotive repair basics to identify minor vehicle issues before they escalate Ability to follow safety procedures meticulously and work in physically demanding environments Join us as a Local Class 1 Flatbed Driver and drive your career forward!
