Location: Intermodal yard Job type: Local intermodal with regional runs Average weekly pay: $1,250 - $1,550 Average annualized pay: $66,500 - $80,600 Home time: Home daily with 2 consecutive days off b We are hiring a Local Intermodal CDL-A Driver for a fleet operating from the yard. Drivers complete multiple dispatches during a typical shift, handling a combination of live-load and drop-and-hook freight. Most dispatches are within approximately 65 miles of the rail ramp, although some assignments may extend to 500 - 600 miles round trip. Current regional runs include Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Because of the regional work, drivers should expect a layover at least once per week on this fleet.
