Local CDL Truck Driver

CDL Driver Universal Logistics, Inc. DBA United Cartage is looking for a safe, courteous driver with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities and Duties: Driving a tractor-trailer or straight truck in a safe manner to ensure on-time delivery or pick up of freight to prescribed locations. Performing daily pre & post-trip inspection of the assigned truck, tractor, & trailer. Responsible for securing return trailer load and returning directly to the home facility. Completing all required paperwork including daily logbook, trip report, and D.V.I.R. Ensure all completed paperwork is turned in daily or as required. Requirements: CDL Class A License required w/minimum of two (2) years experience Possess a REAL ID Have an active DOT medication certification Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations and ability to follow and apply rules Clean driving record Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check Ability to pass random drug testing Must be able to pass Homeland Security and become TSA compliant Qualified and interested candidates who have a motor vehicle record from the DMV dated within 30 days, have a birth certificate, social security card, DOT physical, REALI ID, 2 years tractor driving experience, a clean background, and ability to pass a drug test should contact Rachel or Mari at 757-223-0700, option 1 for more information.
