Local CDL Driver in the MD WV PA Area

Overview Join our team as a Local CDL Driver serving the Maryland, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania area. This is a contract lane which involves oversized loads at some times. It's a drop and hook lane. Pickup preloaded trailers, strap and go, offload and return empty. 1-2 loads per day. Trucks are Volvos, daycab, automatic. Home Daily. 1099 Responsibilities Drive tractor-trailers Complete delivery driving and route driving; transport freight. Secure loads to the trailer Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, and hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements. Inspect vehicles and cargo, secure loads, and report safety or equipment concerns. Experience Required: Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for assigned equipment and cargo; safe commercial truck driving and delivery driver experience. Required: Clean driving record - need MVR Required: Verifiable driving experience Required: DOT Physical Preferred: Experience with oversized shipments Preferred: familiarity with logistics cargo handling and freight procedures.
