Local CDL Class A Truck Driver

Join our team as a Local CDL Class A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely within the local region. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, end dump trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and more. As a key player in our logistics network, you'll be responsible for transporting goods, load & unload operations, and route driving that keeps our supply chain moving smoothly. Duties Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks including manual transmission tractor-trailers, end dump trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks to deliver freight across local routes Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklift or manual methods while adhering to safety protocols Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Follow designated routes for timely deliveries and pickups within the local area Secure freight properly on flatbeds or inside trailers to prevent damage during transit Communicate effectively with dispatch to report delivery status or any issues encountered during route driving Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, load details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations Experience Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with clean driving record 2 years of current driving experience Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks and various trailer types such as end dump trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks. Experience loading & unloading freight using forklifts or manual methods Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial trucking Prior experience with freight handling across different industries is preferred but not required Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads and performing vehicle inspections Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
