TRM LogisticsFull job description CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver w/ Moffett- Dedicated Final Mile Contract. Position Purpose: CDL driver are responsible for driving vehicles such as flatbed trucks, tractors with flatbed trailers, box trucks over 26,000 lbs. gross weight) for the purpose of completing customer deliveries to their homes or businesses. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: loading, unloading, lifting, and transporting merchandise in order to serve our customers. Drivers will be required to interact with customers, warehouse leaders and associates, and store leaders and associates. Drivers will also be expected to systemically update orders via smartphone. Key Responsibilities: 80% Driving and delivering product to our customers. Drive a CDL vehicle (flatbed trucks, tractors with flatbed trailers over 26,000 lbs. gross weight) on a local route. Communicate delivery updates to customers and stores. Load the truck in an efficient manner for unload and confirm customer orders. Climb in and out of delivery cab to accommodate customer deliveries throughout the day. Perform overtime as required to accomplish deliveries and maintain customer satisfaction. 20% Systemically updating the status of orders Ensure all systemic updates to orders are accurately and timely entered smartphone. Forklift use to unload product at customer's home. Direct Manager/Direct Reports: Travel Requirements: Typically requires daily routes around 100 – 150 miles. Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Minimum Qualifications: Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Must be 21 years of age or older CDL Required Great customer skills Clean background and MVR All driver opportunities are pending criminal background, MVR, and drug test results that satisfy our customer requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Valid, active Driver's License with CDL-A endorsement Ability to load and unload heavy items up to 70 lbs. Must pass DOT physical, criminal check and drug screen Must be familiar with local and surrounding areas Ability to use GPS and follow directions Minimum Education: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a CDL program in a field of study related to the job.
