Local CDL A Driver Needed for Intermodal Freight

One of our clients needs a semi-local CDL-A Driver for pulling intermodal freight into and out of two rail yards in Harrisburg, PA. Drivers can expect to handle 2 to 5 loads per day (avg. 18 loads per week) at almost 1,600 miles per week. Enjoy consistent freight and deliveries for a single customer. HOME TIME AND SCHEDULE: Tuesday to Saturday Must be willing to start between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. As better, more desired shifts become available, they will be offered based on tenure and seniority Christmas off, with possibility of work on Thanksgiving and New Year’s EQUIPMENT: 53” box trucks (no pets and riders allowed; drivers responsible for own transportation) DELIVERY AREA: Deliveries are made within a 300-mile radius of Hurlock, MD. COMPENSATION: $0.52 to $0.57 per mile Stop Pay: $88 per stop Drop/Hook Pay: $57 Detention pay: $3.75 per 15 minutes of detention paid out after 2 hours Holiday pay: $150 per day Full onsite management to minimize downtime Paid online orientation 6 paid holidays Drivers in this position over the last six to 12 months have achieved annualized earnings of $89,000 to $99,000. $10,000 bonus BENEFITS PACKAGE: PTO accrues from day one 401(k) with company match Eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage after just 30 days Access to life insurance options Access to mental health and disability benefits JOB REQUIREMENTS: Drivers must have 3 months of experience, with all months with first seat driving (i.e., driving on their own outside of school and training) with one company. ( NOTE: The 3 months cannot be split between multiple carriers, and this carrier does not accept SAP. ) Hazmat is not required at hiring, but drivers will be expected to obtain the endorsement within 60 days of hire.
