Local Box Truck Driver - Contract

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Non-CDL 26' Box Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to and from IAH Bush Int'l Airport. Home Daily ! Work Hours are 8-5; M-F Weekends are mandatory; hours dependent on work load. Duties Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, including pallet jacks. Follow assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and recipients. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. 7 DAYS A WEEK ! - ROUGHLY 50 HOURS PER WEEK ! Skills Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar delivery role. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools. Ability to operate pallet jacks and other loading equipment safely. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Experience with moving and handling cargo efficiently. Capability to drive manual transmission vehicles when necessary. Attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records. Requirements: Must be 25 years of age or older Must be able to pass a drug screen/background check 2 Years of similar experience LOCAL P&D experience preferred TWIC Card Pay: $1,125.00 per week Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Humble, TX 77396 (Required) Work Location: In person
