At APAA, your work truly matters; every piece of inventory you handle helps ensure our auctions run smoothly and our clients’ assets are represented with care and precision. What the Inventory Loadout Coordinator Does Prepare and complete customer orders for pickup, delivery, or shipment according to schedule and direction. Pack, protect, and label merchandise appropriately for safe shipment. Process outgoing shipments and coordinate with applicable shipping carriers and services. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure merchandise is stored safely and efficiently. Organize warehouse space to maximize storage while protecting consigned merchandise from damage. Follow APAA procedures for storing and handling special items, including combustibles, firearms, jewelry, precious stones, and metals. Move merchandise using forklifts, hand trucks, carts, and other equipment as needed. Keep the loadout and shipping bays clean, organized, and free of debris, snow, and ice. Communicate and coordinate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments. Immediately report inventory discrepancies or damage to consigned merchandise. Transfer merchandise designated for shipping to the appropriate shipping area. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. The Impact You’ll Make You ensure all merchandise is accurately tracked, protected, and ready for auction, pickup, or shipping. You help maintain APAA’s reputation for professionalism, precision, and care in handling consigned property. You support seamless coordination between the Intake, Cataloging, FFL, and Vehicle & Equipment departments. You help create a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment that reflects APAA’s high standards. What Success Looks Like Inventory records are consistently accurate and up to date. Items are stored efficiently, safely, and logically. Communication with team members is proactive and effective. The warehouse and pickup bay remain clean, safe, and well-organized. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to receive, verify, and store consigned inventory efficiently and accurately. Experience in boxing or containerizing inventory by the seller and storing it on designated shelves. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. Minimum Qualifications Preferred: 1 year of related shipping or warehouse operations experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, memoranda, and company policies. Proficiency in Google Workspace applications. Valid Alaska driver’s license. Ability to pass a background and reference check.
