Loader/Unloader

Job Overview Philmoor Freight Carriers is looking for a dependable and physically capable Loader / Unloader to support daily freight and transportation operations. This position helps ensure shipments are loaded, unloaded, sorted, and staged safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys active work and wants to develop practical experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Previous warehouse or freight experience is not required training will be provided. What You'll Do Load freight, packages, pallets, and materials onto trucks and trailers. Unload incoming shipments and move cargo to designated areas. Sort freight according to shipment, destination, or handling requirements. Check labels and shipment information during loading and unloading. Stage cargo for pickup, delivery, or additional processing. Arrange freight to make efficient use of available space. Handle packages carefully to minimize damage. Inspect shipments for visible damage and report issues. Assist with receiving and preparing outgoing freight. Keep loading docks and work areas clean and organized. Follow proper lifting techniques and workplace safety procedures. Work with drivers and logistics staff to complete daily priorities. Requirements No previous freight or warehouse experience required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Ability to lift and move packages and freight up to 50 lbs.
