Duties Safely load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes. Operate RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements and update warehouse management systems. Assist with order picking by selecting items precisely according to shipping orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments for dispatch. Conduct heavy lifting tasks while adhering strictly to safety protocols outlined by OSHA standards to prevent injuries. Maintain organized storage areas, stacking pallets securely and ensuring materials are stored in compliance with safety regulations. Support warehouse operations by performing inventory management tasks, conducting cycle counts, and assisting with stock replenishment as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments. Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or material handling machinery. Familiarity with order picker systems, RF scanners, and basic math skills for inventory counting and measurements. Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining proper ergonomics. Previous experience in shipping & receiving processes or warehouse supervision is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate inventory management and order picking.
