Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Loader Operator to join our Ready-Mix Concrete plant team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a front-end loader to move aggregate materials, maintain material stockpiles, and support overall plant operations. This position plays a key part in ensuring consistent, high-quality production for our customers. Responsibilities Operate a front-end loader to transport aggregate materials to and from stockpiles, bins, and hoppers. Maintain accurate material blends to support daily concrete production. Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Assist with yard organization, inventory management, and housekeeping tasks. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Communicate effectively with plant operators, drivers, and other team members. Support general plant operations as needed, including batching assistance or light labor. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Must have own reliable transportation as shift start times do not match with current public transit schedules Previous experience operating heavy equipment, preferably a front-end loader. Experience working in a Ready-Mix Concrete or aggregate environment considered an asset. Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence. Ability to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with daily equipment inspections. Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and overtime when required. Must be familiar with and adhere to service requirements, equipment and operator limitations and safe operating procedures.
