FOREVER CARGO EXPRESS LLC is a growing transportation, freight, and logistics company providing dependable cargo solutions throughout the United States. Our operations support full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), dedicated freight, expedited shipping, warehousing, and supply chain logistics. As our freight operations continue to grow, we are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious Loader to support daily loading, unloading, shipment staging, and warehouse activities. Position Overview The Loader plays an important role in keeping freight moving safely and efficiently through our operation. This position is responsible for loading and unloading trucks and trailers, moving freight between receiving and staging areas, organizing outgoing shipments, and helping ensure cargo is properly prepared for transportation. Working closely with drivers, warehouse associates, and operations personnel, the Loader helps maintain an organized freight flow while ensuring shipments are handled carefully and positioned appropriately for safe and timely transportation. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive to detail, comfortable with physically active work, and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced transportation environment. Previous experience in loading, unloading, warehousing, shipping, receiving, or freight handling is helpful but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Load and unload pallets, packages, freight, and other materials from trucks and trailers Move incoming and outgoing freight safely between receiving, staging, storage, and loading areas Stage shipments according to destination, departure schedule, loading instructions, or operational priorities Assist with receiving, sorting, and organizing incoming freight Verify shipment labels, quantities, destinations, and other basic shipping information before loading Compare freight with shipping documents, work orders, manifests, or loading instructions when required Organize and position cargo to support efficient trailer utilization and safe transportation Handle palletized, boxed, and other commercial freight carefully to minimize the risk of damage Inspect freight and packaging for visible damage, missing labels, or other discrepancies Promptly report damaged, missing, incorrectly labeled, or misplaced freight Assist with wrapping, securing, and stabilizing shipments before transportation Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and other approved material-handling equipment as needed Retrieve and move freight according to loading schedules and operational requirements Help maintain clear separation and organization of incoming, outgoing, and staged shipments Support the preparation of freight for local, regional, expedited, FTL, and LTL transportation Follow loading instructions and established procedures to help ensure freight is placed on the correct truck or trailer Coordinate with drivers and operations personnel regarding loading priorities and shipment readiness Assist with repositioning freight when necessary to maintain safe and organized loading areas Keep loading docks, staging areas, warehouse spaces, and surrounding work areas clean and organized Follow established workplace safety, cargo-handling, and equipment-use procedures Communicate shipment issues or loading concerns to the appropriate team member Assist with general warehouse, receiving, shipping, and freight-handling activities as needed Qualifications Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong work ethic and willingness to perform hands-on duties Ability to follow loading instructions and established procedures accurately Good attention to detail when handling and identifying freight Ability to work efficiently while maintaining safe handling practices Ability to communicate and work effectively with drivers, warehouse associates, and operations personnel Basic ability to read shipping labels, destination information, work orders…
