Trans 99 Logistics USA is seeking an experienced Load Planner – OTR Truckload to plan freight and execute daily decisions across our growing U.S.–Mexico network.
This is a hands-on planning role. You will match loads to available trucks and drivers, build productive reloads, account for hours-of-service limits, and position trailers where they are needed. You will work closely with customer servi

ce and driver management to keep commitments on track as conditions change throughout the day.
Our freight includes dedicated automotive, dedicated non-automotive, and transactional truckload business. Success in this role means understanding how each planning decision affects driver availability, truck utilization, trailer supply, service, and cost across the wider network.
What you’ll do
• Plan and execute daily OTR freight assignments based on truck location, driver availability, hours of service, equipment, and customer requirements.
• Build reload plans that reduce empty miles and keep trucks productive.
• Anticipate hours-of-service constraints, delivery risks, and gaps in available capacity before they affect service.
• Coordinate trailer positioning and monitor trailer pools, dwell, and idle equipment.
• Adjust plans in real time when freight, appointments, driver availability, or market conditions change.
• Work with customer service and driver management to communicate issues early and carry recovery plans through to completion.
• Identify freight that cannot be covered with our assets and support carrier sourcing and overflow brokerage when needed.
• Balance asset utilization, customer service, and operating cost in every plan.
What we’re looking for
• Experience planning loads for an asset-based OTR truckload operation.
• Strong working knowledge of FMCSA hours-of-service rules and how to apply them to multi-load plans and reload opportunities.
• The ability to plan beyond the next load and understand the effect of today’s assignment on the rest of a truck’s week.
• Sound judgment under pressure, clear communication, and a habit of taking ownership when plans need to change.
• Familiarity with trailer pools, freight market conditions, and the practical tradeoffs between service, utilization, and cost.
Experience with automotive or U.S.–Mexico freight is valuable, but strong OTR load planning experience is the priority.
This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on a growing truckload operation. You will have meaningful responsibility for the quality of the plan and the ability to see your decisions through in daily execution.
