Your responsibilities include: Planning and coordinating loads to maximize truck utilization, reduce empty miles, and improve operational efficiency. Developing efficient routes and schedules while considering driver availability, equipment capacity, and delivery requirements. Monitoring freight schedules, identifying potential delays, and making adjustments to keep loads moving on time. Working closely with dispatchers and drivers to communicate load assignments, pickup and delivery schedules, and operational updates. Coordinating with different departments to support daily transportation operations and maintain customer service standards. Maintaining accurate load information, tracking shipment details, and ensuring transportation records are properly updated. Building strong relationships with drivers and operations teams while helping create an organized and efficient freight planning process. Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is: Experienced in load planning, dispatching, or transportation logistics, with a strong understanding of trucking operations. Responsible, dependable, and committed to maintaining efficient freight movement and reliable service. Organized and able to manage multiple loads, schedules, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. A strong communicator who enjoys coordinating with drivers, dispatchers, and operations teams. A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative, makes informed decisions, and adapts quickly to changing schedules.
