e the efficient and timely movement of goods across our transportation network while collaborating with buyers, vendors, dispatch teams, and carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute daily over-the-road (OTR) freight movements to ensure timely deliveries.
• Optimize load planning, truck utilization, routing, and shipment consolidation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and dispatch teams to ensure freight readiness.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and transportation disruptions.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding shipment updates and operational changes.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure compliance with schedules and performance standards.
• Analyze transportation data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or dispatch operations.
• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of load planning, carrier capacity management, and transportation execution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, with strong data analysis capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
