Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Store Clerk to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales transactions, and maintaining an organized store environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers and point-of-sale systems. Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers. Maintain stock levels by organizing shelves, restocking items, and managing inventory effectively. Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies. Uphold store cleanliness and organization standards to create an inviting shopping atmosphere. Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales reporting. Qualifications Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels effectively. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about new products and services offered in-store.
