Linehaul Truck Driver - Class A CDL

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Linehaul Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances, using a tractor-trailer combination typically hauling double dry van, reefer and/or flatbed trailers. Duties - Drive and safely operate tractor-trailer combinations including dry vans, reefer vans and flatbed trailers - Preform daily pre and post trip inspections on all vehicles and equipment used during shift -Maintain accurate record of miles driven through logbook and trip sheets - Ensure hazardous materials are declared and placards are applied appropriately - Verify freight is secure to avoid damage and possible injury - Report all potential damages, hazards and concerns to the Maintenance Team and Dispatch - Maintain a safe and clean work environment Requirements & Skills - Class A commercial drivers license (CDL) with Hazmat and Doubles/Triples endorsements - 2 Years experience driving tractor-trailer combinations - Clean Driving Record, valid DOT Medical Certification and the ability to pass a drug screening and background check required - Experience with manual transmission vehicles a major plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $0.71 - $0.88 per mile Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
