Linehaul Driver

Role Overview: This position involves safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse to customer locations via tractor-trailer, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities Include Transporting and delivering products according to route and customer specifications Completing all necessary paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, and invoices Maintaining food safety standards and vehicle safety Developing positive customer relationships through courteous service Reporting route, trailer, or product issues to management Operating and maintaining all assigned equipment safely Adapting to varied schedules and working outside regular hours as needed Qualifications And Skills High school diploma or GED; tractor-trailer driving experience preferred Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting/delivery practices Strong driving skills in diverse conditions, effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and record-keeping Physical and Work Environment: Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, operating equipment, and working in various weather conditions, including exposure to noise, fumes, and confined spaces. The role involves sitting, climbing in/out of trailers, and working flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
