In this energetic role, you will operate tractor-trailers along designated over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring timely and safe transportation of freight from Chandler , Az to Holbrook, Az . Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, along specified OTR routes while adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Navigate using GPS systems efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and pickups across multiple locations. Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo integrity and safety during transit. Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods following all hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, route details, and cargo documentation in compliance with DOT regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips; report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety. Manage freight securely within refrigerated trailers or specialized equipment, ensuring proper temperature control when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving, with a focus on freight transportation. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A . Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently. Knowledge of logistics cargo handling, truck loading/unloading procedures, and FMCSA regulations governing commercial trucking. Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments. Strong understanding of DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for over-the-road trucking. Ability to handle manual handling tasks associated with freight management safely and effectively. Must pass a background check with a clean record. Must maintain a safe driving record. Must be dependable, punctual, and professional. Must be comfortable driving evening and overnight hours. Perks / Benefits Consistent Monday- Thursday schedule. Dedicated Linehaul Route. Home Daily. Schedule : Days & Time :Monday- Thursday Departure Time From Chandler, AZ 5:00 PM local time Meet Up at Holbroook, AZ between 9:30 PM - 10:00 PM local time. Return: Head back to Chandler, AZ after meeting the connecting driver at location between the specified times above.
