Responsibilities
• Safely operate light-duty tow trucks, including flatbed models, to recover and transport vehicles across various locations.
• Perform basic mechanical vehicle repairs and troubleshooting to assess vehicle condition prior to towing.
• Secure vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and addressing concerns professionally.
• Follow all safety procedures related to vehicle loading, unloading, and roadside assistance to ensure personal and public safety.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after towing to identify mechanical issues or damages.
• Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including details of the vehicle, location, and services provided.
Requirements
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience in commercial truck driving or a valid driver’s license with relevant tow truck operation certification.
• Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, minor mechanical repairs, and basic vehicle troubleshooting.
• Mechanical knowledge of vehicles, including understanding of automotive repair procedures for trucks and cars.
• Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks.
• Ability to operate flatbed tow trucks with manual transmissions confidently and safely.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively when needed.
• Knowledge of vehicle recovery towing techniques and vehicle mechanics specific to truck drivers.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience in vehicle recovery towing is preferred.
• Physical ability to load & unload vehicles manually and perform minor mechanical repairs as required.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
