Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Tampa Bay Area for a Lift Truck Technician and Mobile Tire Press Operator. The role involves performing routine and preventive maintenance on lift trucks, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and completing repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. The technician will operate a mobile tire press to install, remove, and replace industrial tires at customer locations, following all safety procedures. Daily tasks include troubleshooting equipment problems, documenting service activities, maintaining tools and service vehicles, and communicating clearly with customers and the internal team about work performed. The role may involve traveling to multiple customer sites, responding to service calls, and supporting occasional emergency repairs or after-hours work as needed. Qualifications Strong maintenance and repair skills for industrial equipment, including experience with Maintenance & Repair and related mechanical systems. Ability to diagnose and resolve issues through effective Troubleshooting, including interpreting error codes and equipment performance concerns. Knowledge of Electricity and electrical systems applicable to lift trucks and similar machinery, with safe work practices around electrical components. Experience working with vertical lifting equipment (e.g., Elevators or similar machinery), including basic understanding of Elevators and safety standards. Ability to safely operate mobile service equipment, such as a tire press, and handle industrial tires and components. Basic tool proficiency, mechanical aptitude, and ability to read service manuals and technical documentation. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for travel to customer sites across the Greater Tampa Bay Area. Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and adherence to company procedures and regulatory requirements. Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a service team. Prior experience as a lift truck, industrial equipment, or automotive technician is preferred; relevant vocational training or certifications are a plus.
