Licensed Customs Broker — Brokerage Operations and Compliance Manager

What you will do · Supervise daily brokerage work, prioritize deadlines, review entries, and resolve filing, release, and clearance exceptions. · Strengthen supervision procedures, file reviews, SOPs, and corrective actions; train and mentor the brokerage team. · Research classification, valuation, origin, tariff, trade-remedy, bond, and admissibility questions. · Communicate with CBP and Partner Government Agencies; coordinate responses to notices, requests, and examinations. · Review importer onboarding and documentation, advise key accounts, and coordinate post-entry follow-up. · Use ACE, ABI systems, and reporting tools to improve data quality, compliance controls, and timely service. What you bring · A current, valid U.S. Customs Broker license in good standing. · Five or more years of hands-on U.S. customs brokerage experience and a record of resolving complex transactions. · Experience supervising, mentoring, or providing technical leadership to entry writers or import specialists. · Strong customs knowledge, ACE/ABI proficiency, research skills, and clear written and verbal communication. · A practical approach to training, sound judgment, and attention to detail. Preferred: Multi-location brokerage experience; FTZ, bonded warehouse, in-bond, or drawback experience; relevant degree or equivalent professional experience; experience with ACELYNK, Magaya, or comparable systems.
