mine accurate HTS, tariff, and duty payments · Track shipments through the entry process, ensuring all documents are complete and compliant · Recommend routing and handling for imports and exports for customers and prospects · Work closely with CBP and PGAs to resolve issues and secure release of goods · Manage office operations as backup when needed · Create process and work instructions · Assign team duties and review/audit work for accuracy · Work closely with sales to pursue new leads and work through client concerns · Stay up to date on customs and company procedure changes Essentials · Licensed US Customs Broker (LCB) required · 3+ years of customs brokerage industry experience · High school diploma/GED required · In depth experience with U.S. import entry process including HTS, COO, Valuation, PGAs, FTA, etc. · Experience supervising a team of entry writers a plus · Strong analytical skills and attention to accuracy · Customer oriented with strong problem-solving skills · Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle large volumes of work
