We are looking for an experienced Licensed Customs Broker who brings that same level of ownership. This person will serve as a trusted resource to our customers, work directly with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and other government agencies, and help strengthen the relationships and compliance discipline behind Packair’s growing Import Brokerage operation. This is an important role within an integrated logistics company where brokerage connects directly with international transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, and export. Packair brings together U.S. Customs Brokerage, ATA Carnet services, NVOCC authority, TSA-certified CCSF operations, and C-TPAT credentials to support complex international shipments from clearance through delivery. THE ROLE The Licensed Customs Broker will be responsible for helping customers navigate U.S. import requirements while maintaining the accuracy, compliance, responsiveness, and service level expected from Packair. The role combines technical customs expertise, customer relationship management, regulatory compliance, problem solving, and business development. Key responsibilities include: Advise customers regarding tariff classification, valuation, marking requirements, customs regulations, and other government agency requirements Guide importers through CBP requirements and processes , including documentation, duties, tariffs, and shipment clearance Classify shipments, enter and review customs data, and make corrections or adjustments as required Work directly with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to resolve entry and compliance issues Provide customers with clear guidance regarding applicable customs and other government agency rules Manage customer issues promptly, professionally, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations Process post-entry activity including ruling requests, CF-28 responses, refunds, protests, and duty drawback Maintain timely daily transaction processing and accurate entry-related billing Stay current on regulatory and government agency changes Support new-client development and identify appropriate cross-selling opportunities across Packair’s logistics services Job description - Customs Broker Job description - Customs Broker WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for someone who can bring both technical expertise and professional judgment to the position.
