We are especially interested in candidates with prior military experience who understand the importance of accountability, teamwork, attention to detail, and completing the mission. As a Security Guard, you’ll be responsible for protecting personnel, property, and company assets while maintaining a safe and secure working environment. Our company provides professional security services throughout Southern California, including security operations supporting licensed cannabis facilities, distribution centers, and commercial properties. We’re looking for individuals who take pride in their work, understand the importance of responsibility, and can operate professionally with minimal supervision. What You’ll Be Doing Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Maintaining a professional security presence at assigned locations. Protecting employees, visitors, property, and company assets. Conducting routine security patrols and monitoring assigned areas. Monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted-access locations. Identifying and reporting suspicious activity or potential security threats. Enforcing company security policies and established post orders. Responding appropriately to emergencies and security incidents. Maintaining accurate daily activity logs and incident reports. Communicating effectively with management, employees, and clients. Assisting with security operations at licensed cannabis facilities and distribution centers. Maintaining situational awareness throughout assigned shifts. Following applicable California security regulations and company procedures. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for individuals who demonstrate discipline, integrity, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility. Qualifications: Valid California BSIS Guard Registration (Guard Card). Prior military experience strongly preferred. Previous security experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to pass a background check in accordance with applicable law. Three professional references. Reliable transportation. Strong communication and observation skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Ability to work independently and follow established procedures. Professional appearance and attitude. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Willingness to work assigned schedules based on operational needs. For armed assignments, applicants must possess a valid California BSIS Firearms Permit and meet applicable armed-security requirements.
