AWT has the following position open in our Hauppauge, NY location: The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, Hours are 8:30pm-5am. Additional days and hours may be necessary due to production requirements. Required Job Duties Including but not limited to the following: Reports to the Manager, Operations and Supply Chain and/or Supervisor Leaflet Production. Operates 1 or both section(s) of leaflet finishing equipment: Folding/Gluing section Sets up the equipment to score, perf, slit, glue, and fold the pre-printed flat sheet material to customer specifications as it exits the die cutter. Inspect material being produced from the folder/gluer for any type of variation in printing, cutting, folding, and gluing. Maintain the preventative maintenance regiment. Keep area clean and orderly at all times. Organize parts for folder/gluer. Die cutting section Responsible for setting up and operating laser die cutting machine to produce precision leaflets. Operator must monitor machine cutting performance and utilization. Review electronic or written specifications for each job. Inspect leaflets by using rulers and/or other measuring instruments. Perform maintenance on the laser cutting machine as needed. Lift stock to load feeding mechanisms. Ensure all paperwork is in place. It will be the responsibility of the employee to carry out GMP and SOP procedures with the day-to-day operations at Citation Healthcare Labels, LLC. Perform any additional tasks needed to assist Citation Healthcare Labels, LLC with day-to-day operations. Experience/Job Requirements High School or General Education Degree cGMP experience preferred (A+) Well organized. One (1) year experience operating a folding machine, pile, or continuous feed equipment. An active knowledge of ruler measurements. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Math: Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Language: Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English to interact with co-workers. Spatial: Must have excellent eyesight and hearing.
