Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials CompanyChandler, AZ, United States Position Summary The Leader, Business Process Transformation owns the enterprise-wide vision, business-process design, requirements, adoption, and outcomes for AI-enabled planning and production capabilities. This position leads the business side of the Palantir engagement, connecting operational needs with system configuration and scalable workflows across demand management, capacity planning, sourcing, buying, manufacturing operations, and sales-order execution. This is primarily a business-process transformation role housed within the Information Technology organization. The work is expected to be approximately 80 percent business process and 20 percent technology enablement. The leader will partner closely with Enterprise AI, Enterprise Applications, Program Management, Planning, Buying, Manufacturing Operations, and site leadership to deliver sustainable enterprise capabilities. The position does not have direct reports initially. It leads a rotating matrix team of approximately five to six subject-matter experts and responsible authorities and must influence decisions, adoption, and execution across functions and sites without relying on formal reporting authority. The Opportunity This is a regular full-time leadership role with high visibility and meaningful autonomy. The initial one-to-three-year focus is the Palantir-enabled transformation of planning and sales-order execution. As that body of work matures, the leader may transition to another enterprise transformation initiative or into a business leadership assignment. Key Responsibilities Serve as the accountable business owner for the Palantir transformation engagement, including priorities, workflows, requirements, vendor direction, adoption, and business outcomes. Lead the design and refinement of end-to-end workflows for demand planning, capacity planning, sourcing, buying, production visibility, and sales-order execution. Translate operational needs into process maps, business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, implementation priorities, and sustainable operating standards. Steer the implementation partner and work with Enterprise AI, Enterprise Applications, and data leaders to align business outcomes with platform architecture, system configuration, and the enterprise data-layer strategy. Make day-to-day decisions regarding process and capability design, while using sound judgment to elevate significant data-governance, customer, government, risk, or enterprise decisions to senior leadership. Build alignment across Planning, Buying, Manufacturing Operations, Program Management, Factory Management, and other business stakeholders across PacSci sites. Lead a rotating matrix team of subject-matter experts and responsible authorities, ensuring clear accountability, timely decisions, and consistent execution. Drive structured problem solving, operational excellence, and process optimization that reduces manual effort and replaces disconnected spreadsheets or individual knowledge with scalable workflows. Lead organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, training, and adoption for new enterprise capabilities. Develop leaders and subject-matter experts so new processes, tools, and standards can be sustained after implementation. Build sufficient hands-on knowledge of Palantir to support future use cases and progressively operate as a capable citizen developer within the platform. Initial Deliverables Within the first 90 days, mobilize the demand and capacity planning automation initiative, establish the cross-functional team, create the implementation plan and schedule, and define a high-quality path to go-live that materially reduces manual planning effort.
