Provides support and some supervision to regular and temporary warehouse associate functions. Works closely with Operations Supervisors to ensure employee productivity expectations are met. Provides a variety of responsibilities to meet the supervisors expectations. Pay ; $23.45/hr + plus $1.00 Shift differential Shift : 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri 4:30PM - 1:00AM/OR (until work is complete) Additional Benefits: Paid Time Off Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401K $125 Boot allowance after 90-days of employment Associate Referral Program Major Responsibilities: Unloads trailers Executes & provides process improvements to Operations Supervisor Leads & complies with Safety and company’s mission statement on assigned shift Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system The Inbound Lead oversees and coordinates the daily operations of inbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate unloading, receipt of goods, paperwork, scheduling, and emails. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and people. Complete daily logs during shift and end of shift for handover to next shift Uses computer to enter records Maintains and audits paperwork from previous days. Operate PIT equipment to transport items from the inbound dock to inventory when needed Checks shipments for quality and accuracy before closing Operates material handling equipment or the willingness to train on PIT equipment Under guidance of Warehouse Supervisor trains new employees Guides warehouse employees in operational tasks Escalates issues timely and directly to supervisor Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications: 1 year in bound experience and system JDA and equipment; 2-4 years of warehouse experience preferred 2 years of inventory or materials management experience preferred 2 years of Supervisory experience preferred Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint preferred Ability to learn and use proprietary software required Flexible to work overtime preferred Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions Ability to lead a small team, ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexibility required, excellent with numbers, time management, and ability to execute are required. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
