TRGReceiving Lead The Receiving Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day receiving operations for payment terminals, electronic devices, components, accessories, and other inventory entering the facility. This role ensures incoming products are received accurately, inspected for quality and quantity, properly documented, and efficiently moved into inventory or the appropriate downstream operation. The Receiving Lead serves as a hands-on leader for the receiving team, coordinating daily workload, maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing warehouse procedures, and partnering closely with Inventory, Operations, Quality, Procurement, and Logistics teams. Because the company operates in the payment technology industry, this position requires a strong focus on accuracy, traceability, product identification, inventory control, and the secure handling of technology hardware . Key Responsibilities: Receiving & Inventory Operations Lead daily receiving activities, including unloading, counting, inspecting, labeling, and processing incoming shipments. Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, advance shipment notices, and other receiving documentation. Ensure payment terminals, accessories, components, and other technology products are accurately identified and received into the inventory system. Maintain accurate records of quantities, serial numbers, model numbers, lot numbers, and other required product information. Inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, overages, incorrect items, or other discrepancies. Coordinate the proper disposition of damaged, defective, or non-conforming materials. Ensure received inventory is labeled, organized, and transferred to the appropriate storage or processing location promptly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area. Team Leadership Provide day-to-day direction and support to Receiving Associates and other warehouse personnel. Assign work based on shipment volume, operational priorities, and staffing levels. Train employees on receiving procedures, inventory systems, safety requirements, and company policies. Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback as needed. Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Inventory Accuracy & Systems Ensure all receiving transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner within the company's warehouse or ERP/WMS system. Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies in partnership with Inventory Control, Procurement, and other departments. Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities. Maintain accurate documentation and traceability for serialized electronic equipment. Identify recurring receiving or inventory issues and recommend process improvements. Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to resolve purchase order and shipment discrepancies. Partner with Quality teams when incoming products require inspection, testing, or quarantine. Coordinate with Inventory Control to ensure timely and accurate put-away. Communicate shipment delays, shortages, damages, and other issues to appropriate stakeholders. Support Logistics and Operations teams with urgent or priority shipments. Compliance, Security & Safety Follow all company procedures for handling, tracking, and securing payment terminals and other sensitive technology hardware. Maintain appropriate chain-of-custody and inventory controls for serialized products when required. Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures and applicable company policies. Operate material-handling equipment safely and ensure team members do the same. Protect company inventory and confidential business information from loss, damage, or unauthorized access.
