Let’s Give You a Quick Sneak Peek into the Life of a Lead Supply Planner – Frozen Category Business As a Lead Supply Planner , you will play a key role in translating demand into effective production and material plans, ensuring the right products and materials are available at the right time. You’ll work closely with Production, Procurement, Logistics, Commercial, R&D, Marketing and Warehouse teams to optimize inventory, manage capacity constraints, and keep the frozen category supply chain running seamlessly. Things you will be doing as Lead Supply Planner Develop and execute production plans based on forecasts, confirmed orders, inventory requirements, capacity, and business priorities Translate demand and customer orders into feasible production and resource plans while optimizing capacity and minimizing constraints Lead material planning and MRP activities, ensuring timely availability of raw and packaging materials Analyze material requirements based on BOMs, inventory, open orders, lead times, and production schedules Monitor material orders, supplier commitments, shortages, and delivery timelines to prevent production disruptions Manage and monitor WIP and material flow across production stages, identifying bottlenecks and taking corrective actions Oversee warehouse planning and inventory flow, ensuring effective utilization of storage capacity and timely availability of materials Coordinate in/out bound logistics activities to ensure timely movement of raw materials, finished goods, and other inventory across supply chain Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Stores, Logistics, Quality, and Commercial teams to resolve material and capacity constraints Monitor production plan adherence and proactively revise plans based on demand changes, material availability, capacity constraints, or operational issues Provide management with regular visibility on production status, material shortages, inventory, WIP, capacity constraints, and supply risks Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of planning data and transactions within ERP/MRP systems What Are We Looking For in You? Bachelor’s/master’s degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field 2–3+ years of relevant experience in production planning, material planning, supply planning, or resource planning Strong understanding of MRP, BOMs, inventory management, production scheduling, and supply chain processes Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and decision-making skills Experience working with ERP/SAP and planning systems will be preferred
