Lead Sales Associate

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Lead Sales Associate to join our retail team and drive exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the retail sales team to meet and exceed sales goals through effective coaching and supervision. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to ensure product availability and presentation standards are maintained. Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions, including interviewing potential team members and onboarding new staff. Handle customer service issues with professionalism, ensuring positive shopping experiences while resolving complaints efficiently. Supervise scheduling shifts, manage payroll processing, and oversee cashiering activities to optimize operational efficiency. Implement pricing strategies and sales promotions aligned with company policies to maximize revenue opportunities. Maintain organizational standards by monitoring inventory management systems, bookkeeping records, and operational procedures. Communicate effectively with team members through managerial communication practices to foster a collaborative environment. Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates for retail positions and assisting in onboarding processes. Experience Proven retail management experience with a focus on sales team supervision within the retail industry. Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, POS systems, cash handling, and merchandising techniques. Strong leadership skills with previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in a retail setting. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement. Experience in employee orientation, training & development programs, as well as recruiting processes. Familiarity with retail math calculations including pricing strategies, budgeting, and basic financial reporting such as payroll and bookkeeping. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively through strong organizational skills and time management.
