Overview Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Cannabis Retail Shift Manager to lead our retail team and ensure an exceptional customer experience. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store operations, manage staff, and uphold compliance with all regulatory standards. Duties Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions Lead, motivate, and manage retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to ensure team members are knowledgeable about products, compliance policies, and sales techniques Inventory, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control to minimize losses and maximize sales opportunities Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales performance Requirements Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within a fast-paced environment; experience in cannabis or related industries is a plus Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement Demonstrated expertise in employee orientation, training & development, and recruiting practices Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform bookkeeping tasks with attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy setting Familiarity with compliance regulations specific to cannabis retail operations is preferred Join us as a Cannabis Retail Shift Manager and be part of an innovative industry that values leadership, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency.
