Duties Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize product availability and presentation. Implement employee orientation, training, and development programs to enhance team skills in customer service, POS systems, and retail math. Manage cash handling procedures, cashiering activities, and POS system operations, ensuring accuracy and security. Monitor inventory control processes, including stock counting, purchasing decisions, and inventory audits to minimize shrinkage. Facilitate communication across departments by managing scheduling, shift management, and operational workflows efficiently. Support marketing initiatives by promoting store promotions and product knowledge to boost sales performance. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills to resolve issues promptly. Experience Proven experience in retail sales management or supervisory roles within the retail industry. Demonstrated success in managing retail teams with supervisory or assistant manager experience preferred. Strong background in sales techniques including negotiation skills and customer service excellence. Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping practices required. Experience with recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff is highly desirable.
